BY CAR OR BUS

For those who want to reach Garda Trentino by car the fastest way is the A22 motorway (Modena – Brennero). The recommended exit is that of Rovereto Sud – Lago di Garda Nord which is 17 km from Riva; coming from the north you can also exit at Trento Centro and then continue for Riva del Garda along the SS 45b for about 40 km. From Brescia you arrive at Riva del Garda (80 km) along the Gardesana Occidentale (SS 45 bis); the stretch between Gargnano and Riva is rather narrow and with many tunnels. The Eastern Gardesana (SS 249) is wider and smoother, but during the tourist season traffic slowdowns can occur.

To reach Garda Trentino by bus there are direct connections from Trento and Rovereto (Trentino Trasporti Bus); from Verona, Desenzano and Peschiera (Autobus A.T.V.) and during the summer (from mid-June to the end of September) from Venice (Autobus A.T.V.)
